Who is behind it?

Who Is Behind It? Those of us, who have enquiring minds, when faced with surprising situations, are asking ourselves or others a question “Who is behind it”? Since we, Christians, exist in a fallen world, which has come into existence from the time of our first parents Adam and Eve rebelling against their Creator God (see Book of Genesis 3), opportunities for asking above question are plentiful. However, opportunities these days are more plentiful than they were in the days of Dr. Francis A. Schaeffer, who wrote mainly about the times of the Renaissance, the Reformation, and the Enlightenment.

We are living now in the days of a global communist revolution. People, all over the world, are asking the question – Who is behind the chaos sweeping through the world? In our country SA, ruled by the largely socialist (slightly lower form of communist) government, majority of people (even the professing Christians) have never asked that question. This is primarily due to ignorance. What is surprising is, it isn’t even prompted by steadily lowering life conditions.

Those of us, who are students of history (especially of recent centuries)or observers of world events, can see that ideas have consequences. Behind ideas always stand people (in so many instances - evil people). In the decades after World War 2 we could observe the increase in the neo-Marxist ideologies based on the ideas of Karl Heinrich Marx (1818-1883) and his followers like Friedrich Engels, Vladimir Ilych Ulyanov (Lenin), Antonio Gramsci, Altiero Spinelli, Saul David Alinsky.

For reasons that current political chaos in the United States of America influences the global chaos, the author of this essay has chosen to help people to understand who is behind that chaos sweeping the globe(including South Africa). Since the events happening presently worldwide are the consequences of the neo-Marxist ideas, in the US context, they are mainly a result of the activities of a man whose name wasSaul David Alinsky (1909-1972). He was a son of the Jewish immigrant parents, born in 1909 in Chicago. He was a communist activist and society organizer, as he used to describe himself, of a new society. One of his books entitled “The rules for radicals”(published in 1971 shortly before his death) has found a wide resonance among the radical elements of theAmerican society. Among his students were Hillary Rodham Clinton andBarrack Obama. Hillary Clinton had been Alinsky’s student at theWellesley College and even has written her thesis about his ideas. Barrack Obama has been influenced by Alinsky’s writings.

In the very first rule of his book “rules for radicals”, Alinsky writes that radicals should seek to (1.) divide the society in which they exist. This was nothing new. Philip II of Macedonia had coined the idea of “divide and rule” and his son Alexander the Great has been applying it successfully in his conquests. You may be asking how this relates to the idea of “intersectionality” in our days? that the radical Left is using to divide societies globally.

It is the modern use of an ancient idea by Antonio Gramsci (1891-1937). He was a son of an Albanian immigrant father in Italy, who has become a Marxist activist and eventually the leader of the Italian Communist Party. He was a strategist of critical political and cultural theory. He had been arrested by Benito Mussolini and sent to prison in 1926, where he passed away in 1937. He had been an author of the Critical RaceTheory used now by the radical Left for their political purposes.

In the second rule (2.) advocated by Alinsky, in his book “rules for radicals”, he wrote that they should seek to create scapegoats. What he has meant by that, the radical Left should blame their political opponents for committing activities that they never committed. By doing that in a sustained way, they would cause a situation that political opponents would be seen in society as the source of all societal evil, scape goats for all the perpetrated evil. That can be further helped by stonewalling access to information about their own unlawful activities. The practical example of this is a difference in treatment of presidential classified documents of both Donald J. Trump and Joe Biden, former and present US presidents, by the US Department ofJustice (DOJ) controlled by the Biden administration (neo-Marxist regime).

In the third rule (3.) for radical Left to use, Alinsky advocated creation of chaos by them. Never in the history of humanity chaos had been used as a conducive circumstance for peaceful and efficient solution of societal problems. Yet, Alinsky advocated chaos for solution of problems experienced by the radical Left in the efforts to gain political power. Recent example of stocking chaos, in many American cities, instigated by the radical Leftists and supported by the neo-Marxist federal administration was after George Floyd murder in May of 2020.

In the fourth rule (4.) of Alinsky’s book titled “The rules for radicals”, he advocates creation by them of a political radical movement by providing people with a popular slogan but withholding from them the real reason behind that slogan. The real reason always has been and is to seize power and then to hold to power. The recent example of that is creation, by radical Left of a movement theBlack Lives Matter (BLM). Obviously, for all moral people the black lives matter. However, the radical Left only care about power, and not about lives of Black people.

In the fifth rule (5.) advocated by Alinsky, he wrote that radicals should attack the political opponents using political “trash” talk. That would cause situations in which their political opponents, usually not inclined to use “trash” talk, to be put in a difficult position to continue dialogue. Recent example of those situations has been use of the “trash” talk by the leftist member of the US Congress Adam Schiff (House of Representatives member).

In the sixth rule (6.) for radical Left to use, Alinsky advocated use of dis-information against their opponents. In recent times application of dis-information in the US, by the government and the official sources of information, has led to a situation that public does not know about the real state of the nation. This facilitates the radical Left efforts to hold on to power.

In the seventh rule (7.) for the radicals, Alinsky urged the radical Left to never represent the real nature of things. He was advocating use of the famous saying that “the thing is never the thing”. An example of application of this, now for decades, by the radicalLeft, is pushing by them agenda of so called “climate warming”. Historical data over time (in longer span) is proving that this claim of “climate warming” due to CO2 emissions is false.

In the eighth rule (8.) in Alinsky book of rules for radical Left, he urged them to seize power by any means. The leftists used an approach that “the end justifies the means”. In this regard, Alinsky was a follower ofLenin actions during the BolshevikRevolution in Russia in 1917. As many as 10 million lives were lost due to that revolution and the majority were the civilian casualties.

In the nineth rule (9.) Alinsky advocated use of popular coercion for reforming population for acceptance of dictatorship. How many elements ofa totalitarian state are already implemented by the Biden regime is for anyone to judge. One such element iscall to “defund police”, which is a pretext for removing from the staff policemen, who are in support of the constitution and correctly applying the law.

In the tenth rule (10.) in Alinsky book for radical Left, he advocated that they should oppose by force any dissent to decisions of the neo-Marxist government. I have witnessed the practical application of that while growing under the communist rule in Poland after the World War 2, brought to the country by Stalin’s Red Army bayonets.

In the eleventh rule (11.) of Alinsky book for radical Left in America, he advocated, that the radical leftists“burn” books. What he really intended for them to do, to eliminate free speech, which has been and still is protected by the First Amendment to the US Constitution. To what extent is free speech protected there these days by the US neo-Marxist regime, it is debatable.

In the twelfth rule (12.) in Alinsky book of rules for radical Left, he advocated that they should create a sense of ongoing imminent threat from fictitious enemies. Today leftists have created a long list of those fictitious enemies, like “white supremacists”,“toxic patriarchy”, “world over-population”, “Evangelical Christians”,and so on.

In the thirteen rule (13.) in the book of rules for the radical Left, Alinsky urged them to rig elections. A practical example of the application of that rule have been during the US presidential elections of 2020. It is obvious that the radical Left is doingeverything at present to repeat rigging of the US presidential election of 2024.They must be prevented from doing it by all legal means.
